Welcome back to "Rerouting with Dope Melody," where we dive into the journey of embracing change and stepping out of our comfort zones. In this episode, Dope Melody shares her adventurous weekend camping trip with her son and a self-defense group. It's a tale of pitching tents, learning survival skills, and bonding under the stars.
Not an outdoors enthusiast by nature, Dope Melody recounts her experience of tackling the cold nights and mastering essential survival techniques, such as wound care and self-defense. The trip was not just about acquiring new skills but also about forming connections, engaging in deep discussions, and growing alongside loved ones.
In addition to the learning experiences, Melody reflects on the importance of mental fortitude in self-defense and the value of teaching children to be assertive and aware. As the CEO of MelodicLips.com, she also shares a light-hearted moment of connecting over her lip gloss during the trip.
Join Dope Melody as she encourages listeners to challenge themselves, embrace new experiences, and grow from each learning moment. Don't forget to check out her Instagram for a visual recap of the weekend and share your own camping stories in the comments. Until next time, spread love like confetti!

The only time Iโve been camping was in Girl Scouts and even then we were technically in a cabin. I like being outside in the day I donโt know about night lol but hey that would be outside my comfort zone. Enjoyed this recap and I checked out the pics on your instagram. Keep having more great adventures and great episode!
